West Edmonton Mall
The West Edmonton Mall is the largest shopping and indoor entertainment centre in North America. Spanning the equivalent of 48 city blocks, the mall is part entertainment complex, part shopping mall, part dining destination. It's also home to the world's largest indoor wave pool, the World Waterpark. Enjoy endless entertainment in the casino, multiple movie theatres, mini golf courses, great restaurants and even a penguin sanctuary!
Muttart Conservatory
A distinctive part of Edmonton's skyline, the Muttart Conservatory offers a year-round botanical escape for everyone. Since it opened in 1976, the Muttart's vibrant, colourful, tranquil and inspirational pyramid display gardens have ben a welcome oasis for visitors. The conservatory was designed by award-winning Canadian architect Peter Hemingway to offer four themed pyramids: arid, temperate, tropical and feature. The exhibits in the feature pyramid change between five and seven times per year, so there's always something new to experience!
Fort Edmonton Park
One of Edmonton's premier attractions, the park represents four distinct time periods, exploring Edmonton's development from a fur trade post in the vast Northwest, to a booming metropolitan centre after the First World War. The park features over 75 structures, many of which are the original buildings, as well as interpreters in full costume living out the ways of the past. Spend the day exploring the buildings, rooms and chatting up the "inhabitants"!
