Mattamy Homes was founded in 1978 by Peter Gilgan, beginning with the construction and sale of a single home in Burlington, Ontario, Canada. From that humble beginning, Mattamy has grown into one of the most recognized homebuilding brands in North America, having built more than 150,000 homes in hundreds of communities across Canada and the United States.
