Packwood Grand Event
We’re proud to build sustainable and innovative homes in thoughtfully planned communities across Calgary. Our sustainable efforts go beyond our homebuilding, which is why we were proud to sponsor and power the 2023 Packwood Grand event with renewable energy! With solar-powered mobile charging stations and Voltstack® secondary power generators, attendees enjoyed an afternoon in the sun while reducing their carbon footprint – a win-win for everyone!
Movies in the Park
We invited residents in our Cityscape, Carrington and Southwinds in Airdrie communities to join us for a summer movie night in their community parks. With popcorn, chairs and blankets in tow, families gathered and enjoyed a cozy cinema experience under the stars!
Calgary’s Annual “Bike to Work” Day – May 3
Mattamy is proud to be sponsoring Calgary’s “Bike to Work” Day again this year on Friday, May 3 from 6 am – 9 am. Bike to Work Day is a city-wide sustainability and wellness initiative that brings together like-minded Calgarians to promote cycling as a viable means of transportation, while reducing traffic congestion and air pollution. This fun-filled event includes a free pancake breakfast as well as contests, prizes and on-site bike tune-ups. We hope to see you there!
Airdrie’s “Know Where to Turn” Run – May 5
Residents of Airdrie are invited to join us for Airdrie’s “Know Where to Turn” Run on Sunday, May 5. Mattamy is honoured to sponsor this event that raises funds that provide vital support and services for both adults and children facing domestic violence. Your participation will help build a better future for all, as we work to end domestic violence together – we hope to see you there!
Batting Against Breast Cancer
We believe that at the heart of every great community are friendly people that make it feel like home. To support to our Calgary neighbours affected by breast cancer, we sponsored the Batting Against Breast Cancer Event. Funds for life-saving research and support services were successfully raised, creating a sense of community when it mattered most.
Empowering Neighbours on the Court
To show our support to our basketball-playing Airdrie neighbours, we sponsored the Crush It! Basketball Tournament for our Southwinds community residents. This event welcomed players of all skill levels, in keeping with the values of respect, sportsmanship and inclusion at the heart of this welcoming community.
Mattamy’s Holiday Event and Toy Drive
We kicked off the holidays at our Yorkville and Cityscape Sales Centres with a Holiday Event and Toy Drive for the Ronald McDonald House Charities. Plenty of residents stopped by to join us for an afternoon of family-friendly fun that included contests, prizes, hot cocoa and pictures with Santa. With ample donations received going to children in need, it was a successful event filled with festivities, smiles and generosity.
