Building homes for wounded veterans

Operation: Coming Home is a joint volunteer project of the Home Builders Association of Raleigh-Wake County, the United States Veteran Corps, and various area non-profits and businesses including Mattamy Homes. The project builds and donates homes for wounded combat veterans who have served their country. The mission of Operation: Coming Home is to improve and enhance the lives of military service members by giving them the opportunity to own a home.

Mattamy (and its predecessor in Raleigh, NC, Royal Oaks Homes) has worked with Operation: Coming Home for 13 years and has donated 11 homes to wounded veterans.

"Mattamy Homes is honored to build exceptional homes for such extremely deserving American heroes and their families," said Bob Wiggins, Raleigh Division President for Mattamy Homes. "By carrying on this tradition and committing our time and resources, it is our hope that these homes will provide a place for deserving families to make cherished memories for many years to come."
