For the fifth consecutive year, Mattamy Homes proudly served as title sponsor of the Mattamy Homes Bike for Brain Health">Mattamy Homes Bike for Brain Health, Baycrest's annual fundraising event supporting research, care and education for Alzheimer's disease and other dementias.

On May 31, 2026, thousands of cyclists took over Toronto's Gardiner Expressway and Don Valley Parkway, enjoying a unique ride through the city while raising funds for a cause that touches countless individuals and families. Among them were 75 Mattamy team members who joined riders, donors and partners in supporting Baycrest's mission to prevent, detect and treat cognitive decline.

Together, the Mattamy team raised more than $76,000, contributing to the more than $4.6 million raised through the 2026 Mattamy Homes Bike for Brain Health event. These funds will help advance innovative research, improve care for people living with dementia and support those who care for them.

Mattamy Homes' ongoing partnership with Baycrest reflects its commitment to building healthy, connected communities and giving back in meaningful ways. Over the past five years, participants in the Bike for Brain Health have raised more than $20 million in support of Baycrest's work.

With more than 500,000 Canadians currently living with Alzheimer's disease or other forms of dementia, and that number expected to grow significantly in the years ahead, investment in research and care has never been more important. Through its continued support of Baycrest and Bike for Brain Health, Mattamy Homes is helping create a brighter future for individuals, families and communities impacted by cognitive decline.

"This cause means a lot to me because dementia has affected family members and friends. Supporting this research helps create better care and outcomes in the future. I’m proud to be part of a team that believes in giving back. It’s a great chance to come together, have fun, fundraise for a great cause, and make a positive impact.”
